Manny Pacquiao: New Training Regimen Proves Pac-Man Concerned About Marquez

Manny Pacquiao's third fight with Juan Manuel Marquez is one month away, and both men are fully immersed in their training for the bout. These men know each other so well from their first two fights that there should be no surprises left for them to throw at each other.
That is not stopping Pacquiao from changing up his training to try and get a leg up on his opponent before they fight for the WBO welterweight championship on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas.
According to a report in The Phillippine Star newspaper, Pacquiao has started doing sparring sessions on Mondays. He normally spars on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
"He did a total of eight rounds, four each against Jorge Linares and Ray Beltran, and was quick to impress those who were around him.
--snip--
Pacquiao did three weeks of training in Baguio City and the moment he stepped out of the LAX three nights ago said he was “80 percent” ready for the fight.
Even Freddie Roach was impressed and said he can’t wait for the reigning pound-for-pound champion to lay his hands on Mexican foe Juan Manuel Marquez."
Marquez has given Pacquiao probably the two most difficult fights in his career, or at least of the last eight years. He firmly believes that he won both fights—the first one was a draw, the second was a split decision win for Pacquiao—but he has not been given a chance to redeem himself until now.
The only two fighters that Marquez has lost to in the last five years are Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
Pacquiao understands how good Marquez is, and in order to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the better fighter, he has to change some things up.
There are few fighters in the world that can affect Pacquiao enough to get him to change his routine. He is boring in his approach to training, but it has been working for him for so long that any deviation from that is big news.
