There is no denying the greatness of Juan Manuel Marquez. The three-division champion has had a storied career with wins over the likes of former or current world champions such as Orlando Salido, Juan Diaz, Joel Casamayor and Marco Antonio Barrera.
Many will even say his two storied bouts with Manny Pacquiao should have gone the way of the Mexican fighter.  It is an interesting fact to point that between the two fighters (Pacquiao and Marquez), Marquez has won more  total rounds.
With a recent split from Golden Boy Promotions, Marquez was finally able to get that elusive third fight with Manny Pacquiao late in November of this year. The bout will be fought at a catch-weight of 144 pounds, a point many Marquez fans are not to happy with.
Pacquiao weighed in at 145 against “Sugar” Shane Mosley in what turned out to be a dud of a fight. Who would have ever thought a Pacquiao fight could be so boring right? To me personally and hearing first hand that Pacquiao does not really cut too much weight and naturally walks around 150 pounds, he can easily make 140 pounds.
It would make for a much more interesting and even fight with Marquez, who does not carry his weight well when coming up. You can’t blame Pacquiao, who might be a little shell shocked from memories of the only guy to legitimately have given him his biggest challenges in his career.
